Free Instagram giveaway picker
Paste the names or @handles, press Draw, and get a fair random winner — plus a vertical video of the draw you can post to your Story or Reel. No login, nothing uploaded.
One per line (commas work too). Paste from a spreadsheet, a comments export, or type them.
Running giveaways to grow a business? — Origen gives every influencer and referrer their own link and QR code, collects entries with name, phone and Instagram, reminds people before the draw, and picks the winner with this same animation — with a named, one-time gift voucher they redeem at the counter. How it works
- Paste the participants — names, emails or Instagram handles, one per line.
- Choose how many winners and alternates you need, and the video format (Story/Reel or square).
- Press Draw. The winner is chosen first with a cryptographic random number, then the animation reveals it.
- Download the video (MP4 on Safari and recent Chrome, WebM elsewhere) or a still image, and post it. The draw record under the video shows the count, time and seed.
Questions
Is it really random?
Yes. The winner is selected with crypto.getRandomValues, the same generator browsers use for encryption keys, from the de-duplicated list. The animation is a reveal of a result that already exists, not a spin that decides.
Do you see my participants?
No. Everything runs in your browser; nothing is uploaded. Close the tab and it is gone.
Can I pick from Instagram comments directly?
Instagram does not let websites read comments without a login. Copy the commenters' handles (or export them with a tool you already trust) and paste them here — one per line.
Why WebM instead of MP4?
The video is recorded by your browser. Safari and recent Chrome produce MP4 directly; other browsers produce WebM, which Instagram, TikTok and WhatsApp accept, and which any converter turns into MP4 in seconds. The image download always works.
Can I run a giveaway where people sign up with their phone and Instagram?
That is what Origen's giveaway feature does: an entry page on your referrer's link, one entry per phone, reminder emails before the draw, and a named gift voucher for the winner. It is on the Premium plan.
